If you have already visited our website, you will have noticed that we have undertaken a subtle,
yet exciting rebrand… ‘Poco Playa Restaurant, Bar and Village’.

That's right, we've changed our name...but everything else will remain the same: the same
people, the same location and, most importantly, we intend to offer the same great food.

So, why have we done this?

It’s pretty simple, really. Choosing a restaurant name is as important as deciding what type of
food you are going to serve. The most important thing to consider when choosing a restaurant
name is the impression it will leave on customers.

At least one time a week we are asked if we are a chain restaurant, or if we are associated
with another location with the same name. It is our goal to remain independent from chain
restaurants and even more importantly not to be equated to another restaurant by virtue of the
name.

Consequently, the former name did not give us the freedom or independence of our originality.
So it is in great spirit that we introduce you to our new name, ‘Poco Playa Restaurant, Bar and
Village’.

Poco Playa’s Restaurant, Bar and Village is a 17,000 square foot new concept Restaurant, Bar and Artisan Village. We are at the forefront of the festive experience in Matagorda.

Offering a menu of original dishes made fresh daily using fresh ingredients, 3 unique bars, dancing, indoor and outdoor game areas, two outdoor palapa areas, a beach area and a village of shops encompassing 3300 square feet that includes 15 shops occupied by ever changing local and out-of-town artists.

From our casual island atmosphere, the cool vibe of our 3 stylish bars, our fun filled game area, and the freshness of our delectable menu selections, to the variety of artisan shops, there is something for everyone at Poco Playa’s.

Our attention to quality service, fresh food ingredients and an atmosphere unique to Matagorda defines the Poco Playa’s experience. Treat yourself and relax and enjoy the ambiance of Poco Playa’s.

Poco Playa's Restaurant, Bar and Village is your location in Matagorda for festive dinning, gaming, dancing and shopping.

Reservations: Though we do not take dinner reservations, we do take reservations for private venues in one or more of our transformed cottage shops as they are available. Private parties, reunions, corporate meetings or small weddings. Most venues are honored. There is a five (5) day advance notice required for each of these venues.

Poco Playa's Restaurant, Bar and Village is currently under construction. Our projected opening date is mid June, 2012.
